This week in Sweet P’s Kitchen we’ve been playing with fondant. Who remembers Frys Peppermint Creams (are they still around?). Well we’ve done our own take on this- a rich, dark chocolate bar filled with smooth peppermint fondant. The sweetness of the fondant works beautifully with the rich, deep flavour of the dark chocolate. And just look at that shine!
We also made some peppermint fondant discs and hand dipped them in dark chocolate. Each disc is larger than a 50p piece and topped with crystallised mint fragments for a little bit of added crunch. Each disc is a little mouthful of deliciousness. You won’t want to share!
